Summer Style with Stradivarius

Summer has finally made an appearance which means all my favourite pieces that have been in hibernation for the last year are starting to make their way back into the limelight. Summer is one of my favourite seasons – not just because of the light nights, endless BBQ’s and the general positivity it brings, but also because it’s one of the best seasons for fashion. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll forever be obsessed with my leather jackets and my winter attire however it’s extremely exciting to be able to play around with summer styles and not need to layer up to keep warm!

As much as I love my existing sunny weather wardrobe, I am always on the hunt for lots of the new season pieces. I like the simplicity that Summer fashion brings, it’s almost like a blank canvas that leaves an array of possibilities to mix and match and get creative with your outfits. I think the simpler the outfit, the less money that needs to be spent as it is so easy to make basics and simple key pieces look high end. You could pay £400 for a linen dress or you could pay £30, but if you pick the right pieces for you it really doesn’t matter.

I have always loved Stradivarius due to their super affordable and on-trend pieces every season. They offer free next-day delivery if you spend above £40 and order before 6pm Monday – Thursday (uhhhh yes please!!!) They are what I like to call a ‘one-stop-shop’ and accommodate you in everything you are looking for, from accessories to shoes, casual day outfits to full blown knock you dead holiday wardrobes and I am living for it!
I saw this adorable little buttoned linen top and fell in love – I sized up to a large in order for it to look super relaxed and floaty. I’ll definitely be taking it on holiday with me, paired with a maxi skirt and straw bag like this one here
As I wanted to create an outfit that I could wear in England (temperamental weather & all!) I ended up looking through their Jeans section. If you follow me on Instagram you will know I am partial to a good pair of Mom jeans – so when I saw these ones I just had to order them. I adore the distressed look – I think its such an effortless way to jazz up an outfit. These jeans fit so well and they’re such a soft denim which is always a bonus and I think they’ll look just as good dressed up as they do dressed down.

The final two pieces I picked up are the most gorgeous chunky espadrilles and the perfect Prada dupe clutch bag. The sandals are probably my most favourite item that I picked up as they are soooo versatile and will go with so many outfits over the Summer period. I’m obsessed with how they look with Mom Jeans but I also can’t wait to pair them with a pretty white dress like this one (and a seriously good tan) for my next holiday. Also I’ll just add here that they are ridiculously comfy!!

I hope you loved these pieces as much as I do! There are sooo many more amazing items on the website – so whether you’re staying at home or have some hot holidays coming up make sure you check Stradivarius out here!
